There may be more opportunities now than ever in the fields of medicine and public health for college students studying such subjects to get involved and make a difference. The use of telemedicine and similar options for virtual medical appointments has soared in the last year. As a college student, you might not qualify for certain jobs that require degrees, but you can certainly offer your services as a freelancer.
College students can join sales teams and utilize their persuasive skills to drive sales, earning commission or a base salary. College students may want a remote job for many of the same reasons people pursue remote work in general. These are lower-paying opportunities, but online surveys can be a great way to make some extra cash if you’re just looking for some spending money. Although mystery shopping doesn’t count as online remote work, it doesn’t require you to go into an office, and it could be a fun way to get off campus and go shopping for free. They understand what their children are going through, having been in their position before. Although we don’t have parents that can relate to what we’re going through, we can reach out to others that have. In American universities many students come from wealth, but many students also were accepted and attend college on merit. While there will be students that have no idea of financial struggles, there will be many that face similar struggles to yourself. I now have the freedom to financially support my family without sacrificing my passion and interests. The way you honor that is by doing your best to bloom wherever you are planted and being the kind of person that anyone wants for their organization.

I have an internal fear that maybe I’m not good enough or smart enough; I’m not exceptional or accomplished and don’t belong, especially since it was the only school out of 5 to accept me. I feel like perhaps they chose me out of pity or a desire to fulfill a minority admissions quota. I thought I had overcome this feeling during college but it has resurfaced now.
